Innuendo goes Fine Arts

"INNUENDO" in U.S. Premiere at FAFF 2017
Unique Multilingual Film Shot in Australia and Finland
(Venice, CA) The 4th Annual Fine Arts Film Festival is May 13, 2017. Films arrive from over 25 countries, and include incredible never-before-seen profiles of artists and art world figures, narrative features, along with experimental art films, animations, student films, and music videos. One of the highly anticipated films of the lineup is the U.S. Premiere of "Innuendo", Directed by Saara Lamberg.
The psychological arthouse thriller tells the story of the bad twin gone deranged. Lamberg plays the lead parts of the sisters as well, while the leading man is Brendan Bacon (Spin Out, The Mule). The original score is composed by the award winning English composer Charly Harrison.
Innuendo, shot in Victoria and Finland, has been acquired for international sales and distribution by the US company Blairwood Entertainment, piloted by The Hollywood FAME Award recipient James Dudelson. Blairwood will launch the international sales of Innuendo at the Cannes Film Market in May. Look forward to screening time and location to be announced in mid-April. The full lineup of films will screen in both the historic Beyond Baroque Theater in Venice and LA Art Share in downtown LA on May 13, from 11am - 7 pm, followed by a VIP Awards Gala from 9-11pm at Art Share LA.
The Festival is dedicated to presenting the finest new films about art in the western capital of the art world. The films — narratives, documentaries, and experimental — tell stories about how art is made, how artists survive, how dealers and collectors think, and even how an artist becomes world famous with no formal training. Official Selections will be posted on April 3 at, where past line ups and information are available now.
“We are very proud to be screening "Innuendo" by Australian-based Finnish director Saara Lamberg - it's a very strong film with a through-line centered on an artist. It caught our eye immediately due to it's unusual story, and multi-cultural content - various aspects of which you will never see together elsewhere. We will be screening many other great films, and are proud to be working with fine filmmakers from around the world. We expect this festival will amaze audiences and draw a wide, intelligent, cutting edge, and fun crowd from both the film and art world. We have several exciting announcements planned for coming days as well!” says Juri Koll, Founder and Director of the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art (ViCA).
Sponsors include Angel City Brewery, Blick Artist Materials, Flake, Cerveteca, Perfect Balance Trail Mix, Universal Art Gallery, Ingo's Tasty Diner, Home Advisor, Cerrino Media, the Fresco School, and many others.
